SF post II
MON. used merry's id to take the berkeley-davis bus to finally visit davis, whooooo! We ate @ DAVIS SUSHI BUFFET where I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish, and the workers there were really nice too :]. Then cynthia made some home-made jamba juice from her costco pack for us –THE SECRET INGREDIENT IS APPULL JUICE!! soOOooo legit :9. after recuperating from the heat for an hour within the air-conditioned haven of cynthia and merry’s apt, we set out again to visit merry’s horse, Bella, at the UCD horse track. Such a gentle soul
we fed her carrots while merry washed, groomed, and fed her. Then for dinner and we went to trivia night @ BISTRO 33 with janne. Our name as “the holy spirit of biebus christ” *looks at merry*… and we came in 3rd to last with 10/30 points hahahahaha. really, we were the youngest table there, and the winning table behind us was made up of UCD professors -WE HAD NOT A CHANCE. At least we enjoyed some $4 happy hour specials –the buffalo chicken wings and crème brulee were really delicious!TUES. took the amtrak back because the berkeley-davis bus was all filled up to meet kelly n becky for burritos @ EL FAROLITO. When we were on the bus heading to froyo afterwards, we hear a “GIVE ME A DOLLAR!! GIVE ME AN EFFING DOLLAR!!” screaming from outside the bus, and then we hear a smack and see a small asian lady running into a store with a crazy hobo lady running after her. It was quite frightening… I think the hobo slapped her, and she was near tears >_<. Nooooo san franciscooooooo where is the love??!!!
. Finally we arrived @ NUBI for froyo oh nom nom nomz :9. their fruit toppings were really good, and they had one blue flavor called “electric bubblegum”… which wasn’t that great hahahahaha. After bidding the girls farewell, I went to nap at yerba buena park before my dinner with lily n ms. Carol. I was such a bum… we ended up not having dinner with ms. Carol though, because lily got off work at 8:30 and that was too late… booOOoo, so it was just the 2 of us @ 100% SWEET CAFÉ. The really need to make a hk/chinese style dessert place in sd cuz they are SHOOOOO DERICIOUS. I tried dessert noodles for the first time, and it was so chewy and sweet and slippery and accompanied with fruity deliciousness mMmmmmmm
. Although the food there was good, the service left a lot to be desired <___<;. They served me my dessert before my pasta (I guess because desserts are faster to make, but WTH??!!), and we had to ask the waiter for everything… they were so lazy
Lily dropped me off at Winfield’s place, where angela met up with us too before going to TRIGGER in the castro. Well drinks were $3 so angela and I both got gin n tonics... we didn’t tip the waiter because he gave us the change and then walked away, so were were too confused… are we supposed to hand it to him? Leave it at the bar? WE DIDN’T KNOWWWWWW ;_______;. Anyways, quite the number of lesbians at trigger, making out wit errbody and confusing angela n I because sometimes we would think they were men for the longest time….
haha, the music at trigger wasn’t that great, so we headed over to QBAR, where the music was AWESOMEEEEE. They had a top 40’s and some good oldies but goodies mix goin on
I also bumped into erica n jessica from eliza’s and win’s old church in the line for the bathroom… interesting…. O___OWEDS. Took the bart with winfield back over to the east bay so I could drop off my heavy backpack and he could go to school. Then we took the bart back together too a couple of hours later haha. He let me play fruit ninja on his ipad… hiiiiiiyahhhhh!! *slash slash* *KABOOM* <____<; I stopped by church to see the kiddies this year, and was shocked when I saw that a couple of our old students (Olivia) were all grown up and were helpers now!! Oh mannn, how time flies, and how people get so tall… then we went to crossroads so I could try selling some of my clothes…. But they didn’t take anything
at burger king down the block, we saw a group of japanese soldiers ordering whoppers… and when we walked into japantown after, we saw even more japanese sailors! I do not know why….By then it was time to meet sara @ AZIZA for dinner! Until we realized their entrees average $25 a dish… (must go back when less broke) so we went into KITARO down the block and had sushi rolls for like $4
sweet… it wasn’t bad for the price! We took the bus downtown and saw even MOAR japanese sailors! Right before we got off, this old japanese lady wearing a full on gas mask was talking to them and I wanted to take a picture of them because only in sf do you witness things like that…THURS. something happened to a passenger on the amtrak train ahead of mine, so we were delayed for about 2 hours, and I ended up missing all my connecting trains and getting home at like 11 instead of 8:30 –a total of over 15 hours of travel time X__X. thx to ron who drove me home and saved me from strandation because the buses had stopped running by the time I got to sd T_T. BUT NU WORRIES GAIZ, I STILL HAVE MY SANITY!!! SORT OF! WHEEEEEE!!

home is where the heart is – IM TALKING ABOUT U SAN FRANCISCO
WEDS. karoake @ VOIZ with cynthia merry jenny and patrick. discovered patrick's talent at pit bull raps, and the joy of singing FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY. afterwards we had japanese tapas at IZAKAYA SOZAI n it was probably one of the best ramens i've had in sf... their tapas are very interesting/delicious too! definitely going back there... all the waitresses are very pretty too  afterwards, jenny "accidently" left her monopoly cards in patricks car so we just had to drop by his house and play with cute lil mac

THURS. dinner with maria @ BURMA SUPERSTAR. i had the catfish special curry. very tomatoey, but i gotta say i was underwhelmed after all the reviews on yelp... maybe i just ordered the wrong thing? the menu said the curry was spicy... but it wasnt at all T_T. if i go back ill order something spicier n try out the mint tea as well -it looked so good on the other tables hahahaha. afterwards maria took me to LUSH downtown -what an adorable n unique store! u order skincare by weight, and they will cut a chunk of however much you want o_O. i got a ton of samples, and bought the ANGELS ON BARE SKIN and MASK OF MAGNANIMITY because they smelled so good
i might've gotten a soap too, but they didnt have the ones i wanted in the store, and i refuse to get it online without smelling it in person first.FRI. tried to take my brother jean shopping, only to have him tell me he doesnt wear jeans because they’re uncomfortable… after we had spent an hour trying stuff on at levi's T_T. afterwards, met up with cynthia angela jenny merry @ OFFTHEGRID for some delicious over-priced food truck food. i tried steamed buns @ CHAIRMAN BAO (ripoff), strawberry and nutella creme brulee @ CREME BRULEE CART (DERICIOUS), a waffle sandwhich called "Notorious P.I.G." @ BRASS KNUCKLE (I want to try making it at home!), shrimp dumplings @ HAPPY DUMPLING (DECEITS, THEY USED THE TINY WHITE CHINESE SHRIMP T___T), and thai pumpkin curry @ ZOMBIE CURRY (BIG PORTIONS YAY). In general, the food there was so tasty and fresh
i wish i was in the city for another week so i could go back again... afterwards, i went to fellowship, and we had some bomb dinner courtesy of chef pgong, and then listened to the leaders give college advice to the recent h.s. gradsSAT. day with the guildies! brian and dennis drove up to sf, and we started with dim sum @ HOUSE OF BANQUET, then headed to jtown for MOCHI and ICHIBANKAN goodness where dennis bought every panda thing in sight. for dinner we had chinese fried chicken @ SAN TUNGS... OMG HOW DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS PLACE BEFORE THEIR CHICKEN IS SHO GOODDDD OH NOM NOM NOMZ, we killed 2 orders of the fried chicken instantly. afterwards we played settlers of catan @ kim's before going to RYOKO'S for sushi and drinks.
SUN. church in the morning, then lunch with bonnie and her mom. we waited @ HK LOUNGE for an hour before we realized they had 2 seperate lists for small and big parties... and the small party list was at #21... n we were #72... so we walked into a random cafe down the block... T_Tv after lunch, i went to watch the ccu softball game @ gellert park, and "practiced" some softball as well (it probably looked more like clumsily gropping for the ball and swinging the bat randomly...)
... currently with cynthia and merry @ UCDavis. part II to this post will come later...

East coast 3. Tuesday.
Miranda and I had breakfast with aaron at witherspoon bakery. So DERICIOUS. I feel like I say that at least 3 times a post, but that just means that I am fulfilling one of my main goals of traveling ;). Then I grabbed a chai drink at small world before heading to trenton. The chai there was very different form the kind they serve at starbucks. Instead of being sweet, it was spicy. Apparently that’s what real chai is like in india o_O. ‘twas GUUDDDDD
Took njtransit to Trenton where I had to transfer to the septa to philly, then transferred one more time to the megabus which took me to Harrisburg. The first place my cousin brought me to was the Hershey museum. We took the main road to get there, and all the streetlights along that road were in the shape of kisses!
there’s also a chocolate ave and a cocoa ave, hahaha. Anyways, we went on a ride in the museum that tells you the chocolate making process, and then we got to “make” our own hershey’s chocolate bar! By “make” I mean choose ingredients and design the packaging, but it was still very cool! I made a dark chocolate bar filled with rice crisps and toffee bits mMmmmm :9. We also took a quick tour of Hershey (a very small town), and I learned about the Milton school. Apparently, mr. Hershey didn’t have any kids, so when he died he left a trust fund for the underprivileged children in Hershey. The Milton school is a private boarding school system that has an elementary school, middle school, and high school. The schools are all SUPER nice. And so are the homes in which the children live. The program even pays for the student’s college tuition! The trust started off as 60 million dollars when he first died, but now it has a value of billions of dollars, meaning it will pretty much never run out. Although it is a little weird because while all the underprivileged children go to this bomb-ass private school, the better-off children in the area go to public school
For dinner, we made an Indian feast. There was chicken tikka masala, chickpeas, relish, and a little tomato side. DEEEEELICIOUS! And the deliciousness only continued as my cousin served me the rest of their homemade mint chocolate ice cream, soOOooo legittt
After dinner, the girls opened the present I got for them. It was a window decal set, so we got to work making a submarine with the gel. after you’re done, you let it set for a day while the gel dries, and then you can stick it onto any glass surface! Hooray!
By then, it was their bed time, so Abigail performed a dramatic reading of “don’t give the pigeon a hot dog” before going to bed. She asked if I could sleep with them, and I REALLY WANTED TO… but it was only 830, lol. Not happening…
I caught up with my cousin Pauline the rest of the night, talking about our parents and grandparents, and looking through some really old photos in so she could show me what my parental grandmother looked like. I love catching up with family

East Coast 2. Monday
Took the bolt bus to ny pennstation where I transferred to the nj transit. I decided to take a nap because the train ride was going to take an hour, and when I woke up the first thing I hear is “last call for Princeton junction…” OMG!!! I scrambled to get my shizz but both my hands were already full and I still had to get my luggage from overhead -____-;. Luckily a lady sitting near me saw my distress and came to my rescue. The door was closing when I got there and I had to jam my suitcase in it to stop it from closing and taking me far far away from Princeton.
When I got there Miranda was waiting for me at the dinky stop :]. We went on a tour of campus during which I became very envious of princeton’s study rooms, all comfy with leather couches and high ceilings, dang. We snuck into a freshmen dorm in Rockefeller so I could see the inside of a gothic building by telling them we were “checking out rooms for room draw”, hehe
Afterwards, we got hot chocolate at the bent spoon (the best hot chocolate you can get outside paris). It lived up to its expectation. It was thick and creamy and ULTRA chocolatey
soOoooooo legitttt
haha, then we went to the toy store so I could grab a present for my little cousins the next day before we returned to her dorm to stalk some lowellites we haven’t seen in a while teehee
For dinner, Miranda brought me to her food club, charter, which served some ridiculously good food. Really, college students should not be eating that stuff. Its not supposed to be part of the college experience
. I met her friends heela daisy michelle and others whose names I cant recall, and then Miranda took me on a short tour of the charter house. They had a tap room with a beer pong table, a tv room, computer rooms…. sooOooo niceee. After dinner, I met up with stacy while Miranda went home to get a little studying done. We had a nice little chat in halo pub, a DERIOCIOUS ice cream place with A TON of flavors.
When I got back to miranda’s, I met her genius friend aaron, and then we went on a quest to find some illegal movie links so we could watch flipped. Eventually we succeeded. The movie was pretty cute, probcuzthelittleboywassupercute. :X Mang, brings me back to the could old days were little boys dressed nicely and had handsomely combed hair
